FirstLook FAQ: What If I Don't See The Data I Need?

While Callahan offers users the advantage of viewing data ahead of the sources official release (i.e 5300 or HMDA) to gauge performance and industry trends, this doesn't always mean we have the complete data set.

If you're not seeing new data for specific codes or metrics, or for entire credit unions, this is likely because we don't yet have access to it either. While the official data live will give you the most accurate data to support your strategic initiatives, first look data helps give you a strong indication of your performance and industry trends ahead of time.

Why are the numbers off?

We are often compiling the first iteration of data, which means we don’t always catch re-filed data. Still, if you see something, say something! You can always reach out to analystsupport@callahan.com to confirm everything is in order, and we’ll be able to monitor the data when the full set arrives.

What is Callahan's FirstLook Program?

Callahan's FirstLook Program allows users to access data in advance of the sources official release. We do this by manually pulling the data as credit unions submit their reporting, giving you the unique opportunity to gauge your performance in advance and better prepare for your strategic initiatives.

FirstLook Data Sets Include:

  • 5300 Call Report
  • Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)
