How To Use Shortcuts
A Shortcut works like a bookmark. It gives you quick access to a Callahan‑maintained display without creating your own copy. You can organize Shortcuts in folders or dashboards to match your workflow and strategy.
Why Use Shortcuts
Shortcuts always stay up to date because they are tied directly to built‑in displays. When the NCUA updates data or Callahan updates formulas or account codes, your Shortcut reflects those changes automatically. No maintenance required on your end.

Shortcut formulas cannot be edited. If you need to customize formulas or modify a display, check out our guide on copying and editing a display.
When To Use A Shortcut
Choose a Shortcut when you:
- Want fast access to a built‑in display.
- Want up-to-date formulas without managing updates yourself.

Shortcuts are automatically added to their own folder in My Displays within My Projects. From there, you can organize them into your custom folders or dashboards to fit your structure and workflow.

Dragging a built‑in display from its original folder into one of your custom folders or dashboards will also create a Shortcut.
You can identify Shortcuts by the interlocking link icon next to the title.

Shortcuts are a simple way to keep your workspace organized while ensuring you always work with the most current Callahan‑maintained content. Whether you’re building dashboards, creating project folders, or just accessing your favorite displays quickly, Shortcuts save time and help you stay aligned with the latest data and definitions.
