New Insights

Power up and get ready to be inspired with access to new data! With new and updated codes being required on the 5300 Call Report means you now have new data to analyze. Check out new metrics available to you in Peer on the below categories!

  •        Breakdowns of Indirect Lending Detail
  •        Commercial Lending Asset Quality Detail
  •        New Investment Portfolio Breakdowns
  •        Risk-Based Capital (RBC) and Complex Credit Union Leverage Ratio (CCULR) bench marking displays

Retired Metrics

Pre-built templates & dashboards that have fully retired codes (with no option for replacement new codes) will still be accessible for users to report, analyze, and compare historical data. However, because these codes are no longer being reported on by credit unions, no new data will populate in the future.

Changing Metrics

While many codes have been retired in the 1Q22 Call Report, a large portion of them have been replaced by a new code. However, not all of these changes offer a direct replacement (or combination of replacement codes).

Callahan is working to update all pre-built formulas as to work as consistently over time as is possible, given the complexity of these changes. There are two ways that these changes may affect your analysis:

  • Consistent: Some displays will remain consistent with updated codes added to the formulas. No action needed by the user to continue analysis on pre-built displays.
  • Inconsistent: Some account codes have either been trimmed down or expanded, and it is no longer possible to recreate the old code exactly given the newer reporting requirements. Instead, Callahan has done its best to approximate the metric quarter-over-quarter to the closest possible replacement. These values may not track perfectly well over time, so please take the reporting discrepancy into consideration when reviewing data over time.
