How to Manage Your Custom Institutions

Peer Suite's Manage Institutions hub is your go-to resource for editing, bulk deleting, favoriting, and collaborating with your team. Working together toward shared strategic goals is essential, and ensuring everyone is on the same page is key to success. Peer Suite provides the tools you need to easily share and send your peer groups, markets, and mergers within your organization.

Start Managing Your Custom Institutions

You can access the Manage Custom Institutions hub from the Collaborate dropdown in the top navigation bar.

Use the tabs at the top of your screen to manage different types of institutions.

• Peer Groups: Customize and analyze groups of institutions based on shared characteristics.
• Mergers: Hypothetical institutions that can be modeled at the Premium and Plus levels of Peer Suite.
• Markets: Custom institutions defined by geographic regions, available exclusively in  Peer+ at the Plus level of Peer Suite.

Key Features of the Manage Institutions Hub

• Delete a peer group, merger, or market.
• Edit a peer group, merger, or market.
• Send a copy of a peer group, merger, or market:
  • If you send a copy, your selection will be untethered. The recipient gets their own independent version that they can edit freely, without impacting your original
• Share a peer group, merger, or market
  • If you choose to share, your selection stays tethered between you and the recipient. Their access depends on the permission you choose:
    • Viewer: The recipient gets view-only access. They can apply the peer group to their analysis, but cannot make changes.
    • Editor: The recipient becomes a co-owner of the peer group, with full editing capabilities. You’ll be notified whenever changes are made to the shared institution.
