CU Performance Reports Guide

When you expand the Built-in Library the first category you’ll see is “CU Performance Reports.”

This folder contains pre-formatted reports that allow for at-a-glance analysis of the overall health of your credit union without requiring in-depth knowledge of the 5300 Call Report. Looking for a copy of the complete call report? That’s located in this section, too.

Here are some of the key displays within this folder:

  • Credit Union Profile: Includes top-level metrics. Use the branch map located at the bottom of this display to identify your presence or area of interest to assist in custom peer group creation or potential expansion.

Updates to your executive team and vendor relationships can be made by reaching out to your Client Success Team or emailing VerifiedData@callahan.com.

Credit Union Profile Map

The map at the bottom of the Credit Union Profile shows your selected primary's footprint and includes branch and ATM locations.

  • 2-year Financial Comparison: This report is a one-stop shop, showing the income statement and balance sheet data for 2 years, along with key ratios allowing you to analyze a credit union's year-over-year performance.
  • Credit Union Scorecard: This comprehensive report contains ~100 performance ratios, offering insights into a credit union's loan portfolio, efficiencies, member participation, income statement metrics, and more. It will show data for each ‘pill’ in your comparison set for quick and valuable comparative context for each institution.

The Technology Supplier/Services Displays can be useful if you are looking to evaluate vendor options. Use these displays to see who a similar credit union uses for a particular resource or what services they offer. You can then cross-reference to find the relevant dept. head (Using the CU Profile or Credit Union Contact List Displays) to connect and learn more.

  • 5-Year & 5-Quarter Reports (FPRs): For those who love the raw numbers, these reports pull loads of data for trend analysis. In addition, Callahan has recreated the NCUA Financial Performance Reports (FPRs), allowing you to track key ratios across time without the trouble of having to recreate them.

Peer Suite's built in FPR reports color codes areas where your primary is performing in the top10% of your comparison group in green and performing in the bottom 10% in red.

Peer Pointer!

See FPRs for multiple credit unions in quick succession instead of submitting requests to the NCUA by utilizing the “temporary primary” feature.
