Map Navigation
- Market Boundaries: Yellow outlined areas indicate your market selection(s). Inside your market, yellow outlines will also mark county borders. Adjust or add markets through your comparison set to focus on specific regions.
- Branch Pins: The map uses color-coded pins to represent different branch types
- Navy pins: Your primary branches
- Light grey pins: Credit union branches
- Red pins: Bank branches
Peer Pointer!
You can spotlight up to three additional institutions using unique pin colors: teal, green, and gold. These highlighted institutions are also outlined in matching colors within your comparison set. All other institutions remain color‑coded by type, with credit unions shown in grey and banks in red.
Note: If a highlighted credit union operates standalone ATMs and you choose to display freestanding CU ATM pins, those ATM pins will automatically match the color of their associated institution.
- Triangle CU ATM Pins: Represent freestanding credit union ATMs, while in-branch ATMs will appear in the Branch Snapshot. ATM data is specific to credit unions.
- Branch Snapshot: Hover over a branch pin to see key data points about that branch.
- Geographic Snapshot: Hover anywhere in your market to view county and tract-level metrics, including data tied to your heat map selection
- Download: Use the button in the top right of the map to see your download options.

Market Overview Dashboard Tables & Heat Maps
The Market Overview Dashboard includes summary tables covering:
- Market overview
- Deposit dynamics
- Mortgage originations (HMDA)
Click any formula name within these tables to apply that metric as a heat map on the Market Overview Map. The color gradient reflects how values for that metric are distributed across your selected market. All heat map selections are made directly from these tables.

Use the i icon in the top‑left corner of the map to view the legend for your applied metric. The legend updates dynamically and reflects only the range within your selected market.
