AI Analysis FAQ

How accurate is AI Analysis?
Callahan’s AI Analysis is designed to provide helpful insights based on your data, using a uniquely “credit union” point of view. However, it’s still learning, and can occasionally make mistakes.
Your feedback helps AI Analysis get smarter. Use the thumbs up/down icons to share your thoughts or email us at support@callahan.com.

Peer Pointer!
When you select 'Needs Improvement,' a dialog box will appear where you can share more details about your experience with AI Analysis.
What data does AI Analysis use?
AI Analysis works exclusively with the public datasets available in Peer Suite. To protect privacy, it’s not available on proprietary datasets like our non-interest income Community Data set. AI Analysis does reference the internet to help it understand the definitions of different financial metrics, to improve the usefulness of its output.
Is this feature free or will it cost more?
AI Analysis is currently in beta, and there is no additional cost to use it during this phase.
Where can I find AI Analysis in Peer Suite?
You’ll find the AI Analysis option on most Peer Suite displays, including displays within built-in dashboards, credit union and bank data sections, and on your qualifying custom displays.
Just look for the AI Analysis tab below the display, next to the formula breakdown.

Peer Pointer!
AI Analysis works at the single-display level only. It does not provide analysis for entire dashboards or folders at once.
AI Analysis is not available in the Community Data, Market Share Reporting, Merger Analysis sections, or on large table reports that contain dozens of metrics, as these are too complex for concise analysis.
If you're planning to use AI Analysis with your custom displays check out these FAQs to help make the most out of your analysis.
Can I export AI Analysis with my reports?
Yes, you can include AI Analysis in your exports in two ways:
Copy to Notes
Click the ‘Copy to Notes’ icon located below the AI Analysis text. This will transfer the content directly to your Notes tab, where you can edit and customize it to fit your presentation. The notes will automatically be included when you export your PowerPoint file.
Copy to Clipboard
Alternatively, use the ‘Copy to Clipboard’ option to copy the AI Analysis to your desktop clipboard. You can then paste it wherever you need, such as a document, email, or another app, and export from there.

Does AI Analysis save its output?
Yes. The AI-generated text will remain saved unless you choose to regenerate it using the 'Retry' icon. The output is tied to your comparison set, display settings, and selected date range.
If you change any of those settings, AI Analysis will re-run the next time you visit that tab, since it recognizes the data has changed. However, if you revert your settings to your previous configuration, the original AI-generated Analysis will reappear just as it was.

Can AI Analysis analyze multiple graphs or a full dashboard at once?
Not yet. AI Analysis currently focuses on the specific graph or display you’re viewing, it doesn’t summarize full dashboards or folders. This ensures the insights are accurate and tailored to the exact data shown.
Does AI Analysis include historical merger data?
Not at this time. The current version of AI Analysis does not incorporate historical merger data into its insights.
Why isn’t AI Analysis working on my custom display?
Callahan's AI Analysis needs clear, English-language titles to understand what a metric represents. If a display or formula name is vague (e.g., “chart 2” or “a396/a025b”) or mislabeled (e.g., “delinquent loans” instead of “total assets”), AI may not be able to interpret it or may interpret it incorrectly.
Think of it like a fast-moving intern, use clear labelling so the AI knows what it is analyzing!
Are there limitations with custom tables?
Yes. AI Analysis won’t generate insights for custom tables with more than 10 ratios. This is because the output would be too large for concise and readable analysis. It may also struggle with tables that include a wide mix of unrelated ratios, since it looks for a common theme to build its analysis.
Can I share feedback to help improve the tool?
Absolutely, this is encouraged! Use the thumbs up or thumbs down icons to instantly share feedback and add comments. You can also email suggestions to support@callahan.com.
