How To Create A Custom Dashboard or Folder

Creating custom dashboards or folders in Peer Suite gives you the opportunity to group your favorite built-in Callahan displays (saved as shortcuts) and custom displays in one place to keep your reports as organized as you want them to be!

To begin:

1. Create a New Dashboard or Folder:

Buttons to create folders and dashboards are located just below the content search bar in your left nav. Simply click the "Add Dashboard" or "Add Folder" icon pictured below to begin.

2. Adding Content to Your New Dashboard or Folder:

Once you have created your new folder or dashboard drag displays onto the canvas to organize your content. Use the search box or navigate the folders to find displays you would like to include in your custom dashboard or folder.

Please note the below when organizing built-in displays.

  • Folders: When adding a built-in display to a folder, Peer Suite will display an alert letting you know a shortcut to this display is being created.
  • Dashboards: Built-in displays that are added to dashboards remain connected directly to the original.

In both cases, these displays will be maintained by Callahan, and you will need to make a copy if you would like to edit the display content.

3. Organizing Your Content

  • Use Peer Suite's drag and drop functionality to rearrange your selected displays.
  • Remove a display using the "More options" icon in the upper right corner of the display.

Did you know you can view folders in "Tile View" not just dashboards? Drag a folder on to the canvas to view all displays in a folder at once. This allows you to create a story with your data with just a few clicks.

Once you have dragged your folder to the canvas as seen in the example below. From there, you can rearrange your displays by dragging them on the canvas or use the resizer to change how many displays on a given row.

4. Name and Save

Click the edit icon next to the title to custom name your new folder or dashboard.
