How To Download Displays

Exporting your performance data is a great way to prep for board meetings, build presentations, or share insights with your team. Peer Suite offers flexible export options so you can download single displays or a whole folders.

This guide walks you through the process and what to expect from each format.


Where To Start: The Download Menu

In the top right corner of your canvas, you'll find the default download option highlighted in blue.

Click the dropdown to explore the other export options available for your selection.

  • Single displays default to Excel
  • Dashboards and folders default to PowerPoint (PPT)


Exporting Individual vs. Bulk Displays

Did you know you can export a single display or download an entire folder or dashboard at once? Here’s how:

    • To export a single display:
      • Open the display on your canvas
      • Click the download button and select your preferred format
    • To bulk download a folder or dashboard,
      • Make sure you're in Tile View.
        • Dashboards open in Tile View automatically.
        • For folders, drag and drop the folder onto the canvas to enter Tile View.
      • Once in Tile View, use the download dropdown to export all displays at once.


Export Format Types

Export formats vary depending on the display type. Here's what you can expect:

Tables can be exported to:

  • Excel
  • Data Connector : The Data Connector is an Excel VBA tool that lets you refresh and interact with Peer Suite data directly in Excel.

Reminder: Tables cannot be exported to PowerPoint. If your dashboard or folder includes a table and you select one of our PowerPoint options, the table will be excluded.

To include the data, switch the display to a chart type that’s compatible with PowerPoint export.

Charts can be exported to the following formats:

      • Print
      • Excel
      • Data Connector
      • PowerPoint (PPT)
      • PowerPoint Image (PPT Image)
        • This includes specialized formatting, such as stacked data labels, compared to a standard PPT export.
      • JPEG
      • PDF (Available only for single displays)

Add Context with Analysis Texts in PowerPoint Exports

If your display includes Analysis Texts ( performance analysis or ratio definitions), these are available only with PowerPoint exports.

You can choose to have the analysis text appear:

    • On the slide itself
    • In the PowerPoint notes section

If you’ve added Peer Notes to a display, these will automatically appear in the notes section of your PowerPoint export.
